As with much of the furniture I make this piece is simple yet sophisticated and elegant. The physical characteristics of the table are such that the table wants to “fall” into the corner thus making it very stable. This style of table will accommodate a significant overhang off the front edge without toppling.
The edges of the table top are covered with velvet to eliminate damage to the walls or adhesion to any paint.
The back point of the table can be removed to accommodate electrical cord or chamfer beading often found in older houses.
Woods: Forest Red Gum top with Blackwood leg.
Finish: Danish Oil
