Mango Bowl with 24kt Gold Edges

Mango timber, a stunning result can be achieved so long as you’re prepared to sand, sand and sand.

This particular piece is finished to a near glass finish as can be seen in the reflections in some of the gallery images.

The edges are finished with 24kt gold leaf which is slightly roughened.  I made it that way because fress gold leaf is just a little too blingy and doesn’t really present all that well at all.
