Platter

A nice little platter these are, and something I used to make quite a lot of.  They were very popular items at the markets and elsewhere.  And they’ve been made from all sorts of timbers.

This particular platter is White Cedar in the middle, Mango Ends and Melaleuca feet.

I have heard these being used for all sorts of things.  A Platter for nibbles and sushi, but interestingly they’re also used as bases for Japanese Bonsai & Ikebana displays.  Who would have thought. Maybe it’s the slightly oriental styling.

And while were on the subject of food, are you aware of the war on food that’s about to start?

There’s been plenty of threats, and plenty of bullshit links made between the lie about a climate crisis and farming. Corporations, without a background in farming buying up huge areas of farmland. And that’s all being done so they can control the food supply. And when they control the food supply, they will control you.

You will be told, what to eat, when you’re going to eat it and how much you’ll be allowed to eat. And make no mistake, should you break anyone of these, there will be less the next time.
