Ying and Yang
Two figured Ying And Yang shards of wood to give some air plants and native geckos somewhere to hang out.
Made from oiled Silky Oak with rebated steel banding it makes a nice near zero maintenance garden ornament. For those paying attention you may recognise some complimentary curve woodwork under the Ying And Yang. This is of course the style of work I have included in many beautiful works of mine.
And just so everyone knows how to make it, the steel work is burnt. Throw new or old steel you want to use into a fire and let it burn. Pick it up in the morning when it’s likely cooled down and give it a clean. Leave outside for as long required to get the rust effect you’re looking for, spray with salty water if needed. You can just leave steel outside un-burnt and it will rust, but the effect is not as good and it takes a long time.
And the idea of zero maintenance is a good one. But it doesn’t always work out well. Take a look at your government, that’s what happens when you leave it as a zero maintenance entity. It is your responsibility to make sure that government is maintained and maintained by the people. Not maintained by corporations with a global fascist agenda. Just sayin.
And, still on the subject of Ying and Yang, I think it’s only fair to mention one of the most important of them all. Good and bad. Yes, philosophically they are inseparable, and in a human society you can’t have one without the other. You can however, have less of one or more of the other. And that’s what leads me to the problem we have today.
For too long, psychotic multi billionaire individuals and global fascist totalitarian parasitic whores, aka corporations and other alphabet agencies like the UN, WHO etc, have been plotting against the population of this planet for their own psychotic eugenicist interests. And that badness is winning. In fact, over the next few years it is going to engulf what used to be called democracy and turn this planet into a gargantuan prison hell hole. I suggest you start paying attention, and do something about it. Maybe start thinking about your children or your grandchildren and the bleak future of slavery they’re facing.
