You Me, Us

You Me Us

You Me, Us is exploratory sculpture.  I wanted to find out whether or not it was possible to generate an emotional connection between two inanimate objects.  And I wanted to achieve that by using absolutely the most basic form I could come up with.

Judging by the reactions that I had to this small piece the answer is an unequivocal, yes.  In fact, such was the response to this piece it more or less served as a maqueta for the very much larger piece of similar name.

Not shown in any of the images here is the stainless steel base that You Me, Us sits on.  The base allows the pieces to be rotated so they can even stand back to back.  That particular arrangement creates a very confronting configuration.  The larger outdoor piece is the same.

It’s coincidental that we should be talking about something confronting.

Over the last year or so it has become patently clear that the experimental injections are just that, experimental.  And the truth is that they have killed approximately 1 in 800 to 1 in 1000 recipients. Assuming 1 in 900, then one can say they have likely killed approximately 8,900,000 people globally.

I’ll spell that out for you.  Nine million people have been killed because they were conned into taking an experimental gene therapy.
