Who Dares

Who Dares

In a similar fashion to the piece titled Trinity, this piece, Who Dares, is also about strength.  But this sculpture is about strength of a slightly different kind.

In a nutshell this piece is about taking a leap of faith into the unknown, and be damned the consequences. A bit like moving from Australia to Mexico I suppose. What I mean by that is when your surroundings become so intolerable, there is no other alternative. I don’t mean people directly around me, it is the obvious fascist totalitarianism that is intolerable.

It could be interpreted that the title, and to some extent the form of this is not original.  I realised well after making this piece the similarities with the SAS military unit in the UK.  They have the motto “Who Dares Wins” and the insignia has a set of wings.  Truth of the matter is that any similarities are entirely coincidental.

Once again I wish I had some better photos of this, but I have searched and have none.  I don’t even have any of it on the new stainless steel base that I made for it which was pretty cool, found one.  Like all of my sculptures this piece remains unsold.  I do still have this piece sitting in a steel box in Australia and maybe one day we will meet again.

And, while we’re on the subject of coincidental, I wonder if you’ve noticed this.

Have you noticed every single thing nowadays, from the UN, WHO, WEF and your government all have one thing in common. They all sell despicable fascist totalitarian policy camouflaged and treasonously concealed under the guise of doing good. And it’s all done to fool the population, not inform them.

There isn’t a single ounce of coincidence in that anywhere.
